Counseling Services
In my practice, I am often eclectic and pull from many approaches to create a personalized approach for each client I serve. My clinical methods include but are not limited to:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidenced-based psychotherapy that helps to address unhelpful thinking patterns, unhelpful behaviors, and unhealthy ideas about yourself or the world around you. CBT takes a closer look at the relationship between your thoughts and feelings and helps you recognize their effect on your actions. CBT can be used to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and more!

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured and evidence-based approach that supports individuals in finding relief from psychological distress that is a result of experiencing traumatic situations. EMDR is an eight-phase treatment that focuses on healing the past, present, and future self.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
ERP is the 'gold standard' approach for treating anxiety and OCD disorders. ERP allows clients to safely confront the thoughts, situations, or things that evoke anxiety, obsessions, and compulsions. Together, the client and clinician work to reduce the level of distress one experiences!

Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidenced based approach to changing behavior in a collaborative, goal-oriented manner. MI’s guiding style of communication is designed to strengthen an individual’s motivation for change and commitment to specific goals one creates.
